Not that I look down on anyone who would I'm just saying that I, as an individual, would not And I am pretty amazed that I have come to this Conclusion. Why?  Because I have considered it, When I feel low and downtrodden, What if a "knight in shining armor" Were to save me from this poverty When I wouldn't have to worry about money? Hmmnn... let us ponder on that.

This is an excerpt from a narrative that I wrote to go with an illustration that I did in September 1991: My name is Eileen Cheong.  I am 8 years old.  My favorite T.V. show is Darkling Duck, hammerman, Land of the Lost, The Pirates of Dark Water.  My family is special because they care about me very much.  These are some things I like to do, I like to write and draw and read and watch T.V.  These are some things I like about school: writing, and reading and math.  If i had three wishes they would be Being an Artist, and Author, having a family, And to have the best year in my whole life.  I hope I have 2 kids and they are very good.  I want to work as a teacher.  I had a house and a car. Attended memorial at St. Johns's Church.  There were quite a few people who came. This marks the 12th year that a moment of silence has been held in memory of those slain in hate and bias, the list of names goes on. Pastor Teresa performed an inspiring sermon as did the guest speaker of honor, Vanessa an activist from Houston, Texas.
