Attended memorial at St. Johns's Church.  There were quite a few people who came. This marks the 12th year that a moment of silence has been held in memory of those slain in hate and bias, the list of names goes on. Pastor Teresa performed an inspiring sermon as did the guest speaker of honor, Vanessa an activist from Houston, Texas.

Vera List Center for Art and Politics » Vogue-ology Vogue'ology contains seemingly incompatible elements: aesthetic experience and political activism; community events and forensic research; public manifestations and private workshops. The exhibition is a joint project between the Ballroom Archive & Oral History Project and the sound art collective Ultra-red. Central to the collaboration is a shared interest in developing terms that can serve to organize the Ballroom Archive, a community-initiated effort to gather histories of the House|Ballroom scene.   The House|Ballroom scene emerged in New York City in the first half of the last century and is today found in cities across the United States. Here we are at the Historic Soulard Farmers Market!  Its giant and plentiful and CHEAP!  Next, we venture to the St. Louis Art Fair- 2nd largest art fair in the U.S. so I'm told. One of first edible delights in St. Louis is Ted Drewes off of the famed Route 66. I made this! Tomatoe, onion garlic omelet with avocado on the side. I just like this sign a lot.
